Flea Control \/ Treatment<\/h1>\n

HINT:<\/strong> If you suspect flea activity,
vacuum carpet areas to remove flea eggs.
Disposal of the contents of the vacuum should be done carefully

Flea Treatment Procedure<\/h2>\n

Upon detecting flea activity, here is a helpful list that will not only help minimise the severity of your infestation, it will also help increase the effectiveness of your professional flea treatment.<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Call Palace Pest Control to get booked in.<\/li>\n
  2. Thoroughly vacuum your carpet, rugs, door mats, lounge chairs and cushions.<\/li>\n
  3. Place vacuum contents into a plastic bag, seal and dispose of in the garbage.<\/li>\n
  4. Wash bedding (including pet blankets and cushions).<\/li>\n
  5. Wash your pets and commence your preferred flea protection regime.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The\u00a0 flea control treatments procedure will be so much more effective by taking the steps above. Often, more than one treatment is be required to combat severe infestations so helping reduce the number of eggs around will help break the flea life-cycle so much faster.<\/p>\n

    Stop Fleas in their Tracks<\/h2>\n

    Upon arrival, our pest technician will inspect the extent of your infestation then proceed treatment. This involves spraying external areas of your property, particularly soil areas and where your pets hang out. Internal areas are then treated to not only eradicate adult fleas but an insect growth regulator is applied to help prevent further reproduction including existing eggs from hatching.<\/p>\n

    After treatment has been applied, pets such as dogs and cats will need to be inspected and potentially treated again to ensure the cycle is broken and to prevent re-infestation.<\/p>\n
